Meet Our Student Intern
John Mayer is currently in the fourth and final year of the Doctor of Optometry degree program at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. While there, he has been awarded several academic scholarships, has received honours and hospital internships in his primary care and has been inducted into the Betta Kappa National Honours Optometric Society.
John has been a practicing pharmacist in the United States since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan and qualified as an Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist at the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy. He is a member of the Ontario College of Pharmacists and the American Pharmacists Association.
John enjoys playing tennis and soccer and currently lives in Thornhill Ontario.
